CONSCIOUS TECH with ABDI & REBECCA
Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Gemini & The Era of the Spiritual Warrior: A New Age
by Rebecca Conran, CHHC
Recently, I had the honor of sitting down for an episode of my podcast with someone who’s played a foundational role in my spiritual and professional path—Abdi Assadi. For over ten years, Abdi has been my mentor and a lighthouse for me. With nearly four decades of experience as an acupuncturist, shamanic healer, and spiritual counselor, he brings a profound wisdom to the table. During our conversation, we spoke about the massive shifts happening in our world through the lens of evolutionary astrology, particularly in relation to our ever-growing entanglement with technology. This blog post is the accompaniment for that episode, available here.
This era is unlike any other in our lifetime. We’re not just in a “new phase”—we are in a full-blown paradigm shift. We are living through transits that happen once every few generations, or even centuries. Pluto, Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn are all dancing in ways that are echoing revolutions, upheavals, and breakthroughs of the past—except this time, we are more aware and more equipped (hopefully) to take conscious action. And yes, it’s complex. If these days feel like a confusing tangle of symbols, archetypes, and energies, I encourage you to check out my weekly Energy Report Subscription, where I help unpack the evolutionary shifts in a grounded and practical way.
For those new to it, what is evolutionary astrology? Think of it like a spiritual weather report. Instead of telling you about the precipitation, it tells you what themes, energies, and soul lessons are active for the collective. Astrology isn’t here to tell us what to do or who we are—it’s here to empower us to use our free will more wisely. Each planetary body carries an archetypal energy. Just like the Sun brings life through photosynthesis and the Moon sustains the tides, these planets pull on us energetically too. Sometimes subtly, sometimes dramatically—especially during big transits, like the recent Pluto station on October 13th, which brought a wave of intensity: power struggles, breakups, and emotional outbursts. That wasn’t random. That was Pluto doing what Pluto does—bringing what’s hidden to the surface.
Now, let’s dive into what’s unfolding on a larger scale.
Pluto in Aquarius: Rebellion, Revelation, and Rebirth (2023–2044)
We’ve just embarked on a 21-year cycle of Pluto in Aquarius, and it’s a big one. The last time Pluto was here was during the American and French Revolutions—eras that redefined freedom, power, and who got to wield it. Aquarius is the archetype of visionary innovation, rebellion and humanitarianism. It’s associated with collective consciousness, technology, and systems change. Pair that with Pluto—the archetype of death, rebirth, and deep transformation—and you get a spiritual pressure cooker designed to break down what’s no longer viable in our societal structures.
This is not just about external systems. Pluto in Aquarius challenges us to face unconscious social dynamics—racism, elitism, digital addiction, dehumanization—and begin to dismantle them from within. It’s an invitation to break internal rules, to evolve from hierarchical models of power toward networked, decentralized, and co-creative approaches. Technology will undoubtedly be at the heart of this—AI, surveillance, digital identity, and even who gets to define truth will be hot-button issues.
This is also a time to reimagine what advancement means. Are we building tech to enhance our humanity, or are we trying to escape it? During the last transit of Pluto in Aquarius, the Gatling gun was invented, creating a new detached (Aquarius) way to kill indiscriminately (Pluto). It’s up to each of us to rebel against innovations that rob us of our humanity.
Uranus in Gemini: The Revolution of Mind and Messaging (2025–2033)
Next up is Uranus moving into Gemini. We’ve had a taste this year of this transit, but due to retrograde, it will re-enter Taurus in November. Gemini will start its full run in 2026. Uranus is the planet of shocks, awakenings, rebellion, and liberation, and it enhances Aquarian themes. Gemini rules communication, education, and the nervous system of our collective consciousness. This pairing is like plugging a lightning bolt into the mainframe of the mind. Expect breakthroughs, but also breakdowns in how we exchange ideas, communicate and in the realm of science.
We’ve seen this before—previous Uranus in Gemini transits brought about the transatlantic telegraph, the first electronic computers, radar, code-breaking, weaponized science like the atomic bomb, and media warfare in the 1850s and 1940s. We’re heading back into that territory, now with exponentially more powerful tech.
Ultimately, this era will ask us to liberate our minds from inherited narratives, to think independently, to question what we’ve accepted as “truth,” and more than anything to develop personal discernment. It’s an era of rewiring, reform, and radical rethinking—not only in education and media, but in the very way we process reality. The shadow? Mental overload, misinformation, emotional detachment, and digital disconnection. We’ll need daily practices to ground and integrate information, not just consume it.
Neptune’s Transition: From Dream to Action (Pisces → Aries)
Although we have tasted Neptune in Aries this year, from October 21, 2025, Neptune retrograding moves back into Pisces, finally wrapping up its 15-year journey through this sign—a deeply spiritual, imaginative, but often delusional era. Since 2011, we’ve seen a spiritual renaissance, yes—but also an explosion of escapism, fantasy addiction, misinformation, and spiritual bypassing. From social media’s endless scroll to “love and light” movements that sidestep real-world suffering, we’ve had to navigate a minefield of illusions. The antidote? Healthy boundaries. Grounded compassion. Connection to reality. Embodied mysticism.
By early 2026, Neptune re-enters Aries for good, and the vibe shifts dramatically. Pisces is dreamy and passive; Aries is bold and active. This is the time to initiate a new spiritual identity for ourselves as we move from passive absorption (Pisces) to active embodiment (Aries). The last time we experienced this transit was during the period of the American Civil War. This transit calls forth the Spiritual Warrior—those who not only dream but also act on vision and lead with humanitarian integrity. It’s the rise of body-based mystics, climate justice movements, and spiritual activism. But beware the shadow: fanaticism, war mentality, ego-driven missions, and zealotry cloaked in divine rhetoric.
This is our moment to fuse instinct with intuition. Not to conquer the world, but to embody our spiritual truths with courage and humility. We’re being asked to move from mysticism into motion by evolving through our inherited karma and subconscious conditioning. We have patterns to overcome, at their most potent right now. We must leave the past in the past, allow the catharsis of grief, and move forward with a new dream.
Saturn in Aries: Responsibility in Action
Surprise surprise, Saturn is also doing the retrograde dance right now, between Pisces and Aries, echoing the Neptune shifts. Saturn brings structure, discipline, and karmic accountability. Aries is fast, impulsive, and initiating. The mix can be volatile—think political extremism, conflict, and impatience—but it also supports new leadership and brave redefinitions of power (the Civil Rights movement was birthed during Saturn in Aries). This is a time to build something real out of our passion and to understand that action without reflection can carry heavy consequences.
Integration: Stay Human in the Age of Change
It’s a lot. And it’s easy to get lost in the mental loops or existential overwhelm. These transits are invitations for evolutionary growth, the kind that is imperative to our species. They invite us to consciously choose to be embodied, to reflect, and to understand our participation in co-creation. Now is the time to deepen body-based practices, to develop your inner “technology” (think: energy systems, nervous system regulation, breathwork), and to practice conscious citizenship.
We’re being asked to challenge inherited beliefs, to let go of narratives that no longer serve, and to speak from our own authentic voice—not just echo the loudest one in the room. We’re building a future not only through tech or systems but also through conscious bodily evolution. Each of us is a changemaker. Don’t wait for someone else to fix the system. Reclaim your role in co-creating a world that aligns with our collective needs.
If you’re ready to dive deeper into the energies at play, I offer weekly subscriptions to my Energy Reports along with 1-on-1 Astrology Readings, Energy Healing or Life Coaching that can help you align with these evolutionary currents.
With love,
