Mercury features heavily this month, which is appropriate for the Virgo seasonal energy we begin September with. If you want to change your life, begin by changing your mind. Your thoughts and emotions are central to your experience as a human being, and all of the magical experiences to be called in but also repeat patterns can be followed back to your own ideas and inner life. There is a call to action here to be conscious of your own thoughts, dialogue, and mind so that you can become the master of choice regarding it and not be mastered by your subconscious. Rewiring your mind is the hardest but most rewarding work we can do, so you can be damn sure it’s appropriate to be paying attention to the mercury energy this month.

August begins with Chiron's retrograde, inviting old wounds around identity, worth, and belonging into our heart-centred awareness so that we can offer them the compassion they may have always deserved. As the weeks unfold, the cosmos encourages us to open our hearts in relationship and to speak with greater authenticity, both internally and externally. There is plenty of momentum, inspiration, and opportunity woven throughout August; there is also a reminder to move with discernment. Not every emotion requires a reaction, not every thought reflects the truth, and not every challenge is here to block your path. Some are simply invitations to deepen your wisdom. This is a month to choose presence over impulse, connection over conflict, and authenticity over appearance. If you allow yourself to listen beneath the noise, August has much to reveal.
